AAP believes in giving a Hand-Up, not a hand-out to marginalized, micro and small enterprise with respect to environmentally sustainable principles.

AAP envisages its function as that of a facilitator; thus the main MO used will be to identify and create “Change Leaders” from within the target communities. A 3-D participatory model will be employed, whereby capacity up gradation of an entire community is occurring at various levels. This will ensure that AAP has been successful in its facilitation role by ensuring current and future sustainability of the community independently, by weaning it off its intervention services.

As AAP team members combine the best of Global Best Practices with indigenous knowledge and skills. It places great value on becoming a part of the Global Market Economy, through which community empowerment and livelihood sustainability will occur.

At AAP, we do not want to re-invent the wheel. We look to create beneficial linkages and partner with the Government, private institutions and organizations, civil society organizations and international partners.
